Piaggio: green flexibility
image
Piaggio is bringing a fully “green” range to Transpotec, entirely centred on last mile transport.

The trickiest part of transport: the last mile calls for particularly flexible vehicles that can undergo “missions” that are highly diverse, but share the need for immediacy, versatility and the utmost care when it comes to emissions. That's why, in order to meet these needs, Piaggio has decided to centre its range on offer at Transpotec around this theme.

More specifically, the exhibition will be an opportunity to present the Porter NP6, Piaggio Commercial's new “City Truck”: a compact, high-performance and exclusively GREEN commercial vehicle. Designed to excel at short-haul goods transport, it guarantees maximum work efficiency, particularly in urban contexts which are increasingly congested and governed by rigid anti-emission restrictions, thanks to its high N1 class capacity, compact size, optimum manoeuvrability and exclusively eco-friendly engines (Petrol+LPG or Petrol+Methane).

The range is built on four chassis (single wheel L1 and L2 and twin wheel L1 L2), covering a spectrum of 2650mm to 3250mm wheelbase and from 1,055kg to 1,610kg load capacity per chassis. This ensures a high degree of flexibility and set-up potential, thus supporting a wide range of applications that can meet any professional need.

Piaggio Commercial is taking part in Transpotec to demonstrate how to fully exploit this potential and complete the last mile delivery mission in the best way possible. In addition to the “factory” chassis, Porter NP6 will be on display with logistics solutions for both ambient and controlled temperatures created to date by some outfitters who see potential in Porter NP6’s special features to develop specific, highly competitive products for the N1 segment.
