Innovation and future: the human factor

Innovation runs on the road at an unprecedented speed. The transport system of the future is taking shape and the whole world revolving around the sector is destined to change. Vehicles will become increasingly complex and have new service requirements.

That's why today saying "lorry driver" or "mechanic" is almost reductive.
Industrial vehicle drivers must have the skills of a logistics expert and, above all, must know how to make the most of the potential of highly innovative and increasingly connected vehicles, while mechanics are turning into highly specialised technicians who need to manage digital tests and diagnostics.

The theme will be one of the focuses of Transpotec Logitec 2021. This will be discussed during the training programme but there will also be activities aimed at the issuing of new driving licences, which will put job supply and demand into practical contact.
