Showcasing innovative products, solutions and services to meet the challenges of sustainability and safety.

Decarbonisation, digitalisation, safety and efficiency will be the watchwords of Transpotec Logitec 2024: development drivers that are radically changing the market and redefining standards.

These will be the topics discussed on the stands of HGV manufacturers, who will be offering a mix of technologies to meet different customer needs: from 100% electric, which can now achieve a range of up to 500 km, to biomethane; from HVO, a fuel derived from agricultural or animal waste, to the hydrogen-powered fuel cell truck making its national debut at Transpotec Logitec.

But the entire supply chain will play its part in the energy transition. Trailers are becoming lighter and more aerodynamic and can generate the energy necessary for load cooling; tyre manufacturers are exploring new, more sustainable and less polluting materials to improve performance, efficiency and recycling.

The Aftermarket is also playing an important role in the energy transition process. Spare parts, components, remanufacturing and reconditioning services will be the focus of the dedicated Aftermarket Village area in pavilion 22.

Electric commercial vehicles, cargo scooters, cargo bikes and light quadricycles will be the stars of the  Last Mile - Microvan & cargo bike area, in pavilion 14, dedicated to urban logistics solutions looking for green alternatives for last mile deliveries.

Finally, on the safety front, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things and data analytics are coming into play. They are moving into vehicles in the form of sensors to monitor blind spots, tyre monitoring systems, programmes to manage vehicle health and driver quality, and also into logistics companies to facilitate operations and processes, improve visibility and traceability of products throughout the supply chain, and reduce errors and waste along the way. Innovative products and services for logistics and transport will also be on display in the Logistic Village in pavilion 14.
